Most Indian B2B SaaS starts on a whiteboard in Bangalore. YarnTally started on a shop floor in Ghaziabad — with a family business, 11 godowns, ₹40+ Cr of monthly turnover in yarn wholesale, and a phone that had to work with unreliable godown wifi.
The problem was clear: nothing on the market was built for how Indian wholesale actually works. Tally was a desktop-first accounting tool. Zoho Books was for the client's books, not for a wholesaler managing 11 physical locations. Every operator was running a bespoke Excel + WhatsApp system that fell apart under scale.
So we built one. Every YarnTally screen was designed inside a real godown, tested with real cartons, and refined by operators who had never used a SaaS product before. The result: book stock finally matches physical stock. Damage gets logged. EDPMS clocks stop being surprises. Cash flow gets an AI-generated morning briefing.
Then something interesting happened. A CA firm asked if they could use it for their practice management. A property broker asked about leads. A clinic wanted patient records. We realised the same operational discipline that made YarnTally work for yarn worked for any Indian SMB with multi-location + GST + team + AI needs.
Today YarnTally serves 19 industries — from CA firms to yarn wholesale to healthcare to logistics. It's our own multi-tenant SaaS at yarntally.vercel.app, and it's the flagship product of MNB Research.
85+ batches shipped since May 2026. Momentum compounds. We reject the 6-month release cycle.
Every screen was tested in a real godown with real cartons. If it doesn't work with unreliable wifi and a scanning phone, it doesn't ship.
